Don't let your DGX Spark sit idle: rent it out
A DGX Spark that sits idle is thousands of dollars of hardware doing nothing. List it on GPUwerk Platform and it earns while you are not using it: you keep 70% of every rented hour, $0.55 at the $0.79 Partner Spark price, paid monthly in euros. No shipping, no minimum listing period, and the Spark stays yours to use whenever it is free.

Why rent out an idle DGX Spark?
Because people want GB10 time. Demand for GB10 time is high: GPUwerk's own Spark fleet averages 92% utilisation, and that is why we are adding partner machines. Renters can pick a Partner Spark like yours directly, and when our own Sparks are in use, any-location bookings go to partner machines too.
How much can an idle DGX Spark earn?
$0.55 for every hour a renter is charged at the full rate. That is $322.95 a month at 80% utilisation, $363.32 at 90% and $403.69 at 100%. Earnings depend on renter demand and are not guaranteed. The full breakdown is in how to earn money with your DGX Spark.
What does an idle DGX Spark cost to keep on?
Very little. Tom's Hardware measured a Founders Edition at 22 to 37 W at idle, about €5 to €8 a month at the EU household price of €0.2896 per kWh. Ten to sixteen rented hours a month cover that, and every hour after it is yours.
What is a used DGX Spark worth?

Should I sell my DGX Spark or rent it out?
If you still want the machine, rent it out. A sale pays once, the Spark is gone, and buying one back costs today's $6,950. Renting keeps the Spark yours and pays for every rented hour: rented around the clock, it earns $4,844.28 in a year before running costs, more than the lowest recorded resale price, and you still own it at the end.
- You keep using it. "Use my Spark" starts your own instance at no charge whenever it is idle.
- You keep your options. No minimum listing period. Unlist, restore the stock system with the maker's recovery USB, and you can still sell.
How renting out works
- One evening to set up. Boot GPUwerk's install image from a USB stick (it erases the drive), pair the Spark in the console, then an hour of burn-in and a GPUwerk review. Checklist: requirements.
- Any 128 GB GB10. All eight GB10 models work. Renters run in isolated instances.
- Paid monthly. Payment within 30 days of month end, in EUR by SEPA, in CZK to a Czech bank, or through Wise to almost every country. Amounts under €20 roll over.
How payouts work: renters can choose your Spark directly as a partner node, any-location bookings go to EEA partner machines once GPUwerk's own Sparks are in use, and a Spark outside the EEA is rented by renters who choose its country. Trial usage (it can run on your Spark, unpaid), the part of a rental paid with GPUwerk promotional credit and your own use are not paid. If you unlist or switch off a rented Spark, or it is offline more than 15 minutes in a row, you lose the last 24 hours of that rental and keep the earlier hours. You pay your own electricity and internet. The partner agreement you accept before listing is the binding text; for tax, see tax and VAT when renting out a Spark.
