The terms

Your share
You get 70% of what we charge renters for your Spark. The rest covers running the platform.
Per rented hour
70% of the $0.79 Partner price, before your power and internet. Not a forecast.
Monthly payout
By bank wire (EUR by SEPA or CZK to a Czech bank), Wise, PayPal or Stripe, within 30 days of month end. Amounts under EUR 20 roll over.
Machines
Any NVIDIA GB10 machine from any vendor that you own outright, wherever it is. For example the NVIDIA DGX Spark, ASUS Ascent GX10, Lenovo ThinkStation PGX or Dell Pro Max GB10.
Other GPUs
Today GPUwerk Platform takes GB10 machines only. We're working on opening it to gaming and professional GPUs such as the RTX 4090, RTX 5090 and RTX PRO 6000. Until then, see where to rent out other GPUs.
Owners
Businesses and private individuals in any country except those under EU sanctions. Individuals pass an ID check before their first machine is listed.
Line and payout
At least 300 Mbit/s down and 100 Mbit/s up. Payouts go in EUR by SEPA, or in CZK to a Czech bank, to an account in your name; they are held until GPUwerk has verified it. Wise, PayPal and Stripe payouts are also available.

Create an account
Sign up in the console and click Start hosting.
Install GPUwerk OS
Write the image from the console to a USB stick and boot your Spark from it. This erases the Spark, so back it up first (guide).
Pair it
Enter the code shown on your Spark in the console (guide).
Earn
Your Spark is listed and you're ready to go.

Compared with Vast.ai hosting
Setup
On Vast.ai you install Ubuntu and the NVIDIA drivers yourself, open ports, and the docs say Vast does not help get the machine working. On GPUwerk Platform you install one locked image from USB and there is no OS to administer.
Take rate
Since June 2024 Vast.ai deducts no hosting fee: a host earns the price it sets, and Vast adds an internal surcharge for renters that it does not publish. What a GB10 earns there depends on the price you set and the demand at that price, so there is no fixed figure to set against $0.55. A post on NVIDIA's developer forum on 9 June 2026 says Vast.ai now supports ARM machines and that GB10s are rentable there.

How much can I earn renting out my DGX Spark?
70% of what renters pay: $0.55 per rented hour at $0.79, or up to $403.69 a month if it is rented around the clock. This is arithmetic, not a forecast: renters get a Partner Spark only when GPUwerk's own are all in use, so GPUwerk cannot promise hours. Your power and internet costs come out of it. The earnings page shows what earns nothing, and the power guide has the running cost.
Can I use my Spark myself when it is idle?
Yes, through GPUwerk. While the Spark is listed and idle you can start an instance on it from the partner console ("Use my Spark") at no charge. That use earns nothing, and while you use it nobody else can rent the machine. There is no local login or shell on the Spark itself.
Is it safe for my home network?
The Spark opens an outbound-only tunnel, so there are no open router ports, and its firewall drops traffic to devices on your local network. Renters run in containers on a separate network. The isolation test is part of the burn-in. Renter traffic still counts against your bandwidth. The safety page has the full list and what GPUwerk can see.
Can I stop at any time?
Yes, with no minimum period and no notice. An idle Spark is unlisted at once; a rented one after 24 hours. If a rental is cut short on your side (you unlist or switch it off, it is offline for more than 15 minutes, or GPUwerk suspends it), you lose that rental's last 24 hours of earnings and keep the rest. A rental the renter ends is never forfeited. You can restore the stock system with NVIDIA's recovery USB.
Do I need Linux skills?
No. There is no operating system for you to administer: you write GPUwerk's install image to a USB stick, boot the Spark from it and type a pairing code into the console. The install erases the machine, so back up anything you want to keep. The requirements page says where the install stands: it has run end to end in an emulator and in parts on real hardware, not yet on every model.
