Renting out a DGX Spark: Primcast vs GPUwerk Platform
On Primcast you pick a rent, keep running your own install, and renters reach the internet from your IP address. GPUwerk Platform is built for the GB10 and does the work for you: a fixed 70% of every rented hour, $0.55 at the $0.79 Partner Spark price, paid monthly in EUR, in CZK, or through Wise. Renters stay isolated from your network, their traffic leaves through GPUwerk, and you can use your Spark free whenever it is idle.

Primcast vs GPUwerk Platform side by side
| GPUwerk Platform | Primcast | |
|---|---|---|
| Who sets the price | GPUwerk: renters pay $0.79 an hour for a Partner Spark, the same for every owner. Nothing for you to price. | You set a monthly rent, and optionally hourly, daily and weekly ones. Primcast sets the separate price the renter pays. |
| Fee or deduction | You get 70% of what renters are charged: $0.55 per rented hour at $0.79. | Primcast says it deducts nothing from the rent you set. Its terms put your own bank's fees and the payment provider's conversion charge on you. |
| What an hour pays | 70% of every charged hour, including stopped time a renter keeps reserved. | Your monthly rent divided by 720 for each hour rented and online. Offline time during a rental earns nothing and may be refunded to the renter. |
| Payout cadence | Monthly, within 30 days of month end, from a self-billing statement. | Monthly, within the first ten days of the following month, no minimum. |
| Payout method | EUR by SEPA, CZK to a Czech bank, or Wise to almost every country, to an account in your name. | Bank transfer through Primcast's payment partner, in your account's currency. The bank must be in a country that partner can pay out to. |
| Location | Owners in any country not under EU sanctions can join. Any-location bookings stay in the EEA; a Spark outside the EEA is rented by renters who choose its country. | No country list. Home and office lines are normal listings. Renters can filter for machines in the EU, EEA and adequacy countries. |
| Network and CGNAT | Outbound WireGuard over UDP; no port forwarding or public IP. At least 300 Mbit/s down, 100 Mbit/s up, outbound HTTPS and UDP. | One outbound SSH connection to a relay on TCP 2222. No public IP needed, CGNAT works, no minimum upload speed; measured speeds appear on the listing. |
| Whose IP renters use | GPUwerk's. Renter traffic exits from GPUwerk's address, and burn-in checks that a renter container cannot reach your router. | Your own public IP. Primcast's terms say it does not filter that traffic and that third parties may attribute a renter's activity to your address. |
| GB10 machines that qualify | Any 128 GB NVIDIA GB10 machine you own outright. All eight GB10 models confirmed working on 19 October 2026. | Names the NVIDIA DGX Spark (Founders Edition included), ASUS Ascent GX10 and ZGX nano, and its marketplace page describes setup for "a DGX Spark or other GB10 machine". |
| Your OS | GPUwerk's locked system, installed from a USB stick, which erases the machine. GPUwerk handles firmware and OS updates. | Kept. Your DGX OS, driver, CUDA and container runtime stay; the agent adds podman and the NVIDIA Container Toolkit. You keep root. |
| Rental terms | Renters pay per use at $0.79 an hour. Unlist any time, no notice, no minimum period. | Monthly rent, plus hourly, daily or weekly if you offer them. You can reprice, pause or remove a machine when it is not rented; a running rental keeps the price it was ordered at. Removing the agent mid-rental ends it and counts as unavailability. |
| Verification | TPM attestation, at least 1 hour of burn-in with one restart, then a GPUwerk review. | Identity verification through payout setup. Checks on GPU identity, memory, thermals, load stability, storage throughput and network path; unlimited retries. |
| Using it yourself | "Use my Spark" is free whenever it is idle, in an isolated instance. | You choose the availability you sell and pause the listing to take the machine back. The DGX Spark desktop stays usable until someone rents it. |

How does Primcast pay a DGX Spark owner?
You pick a monthly rent, and Primcast's DGX Spark page says you earn that rent divided by 720 for every hour the machine is rented and online. Primcast sets the price the renter sees, so what you earn depends on whether renters take your listing at that price.
GPUwerk Platform takes that guesswork away. The renter price is fixed at $0.79 an hour, you get 70% of it, and there is no rent to set, compare or adjust.
Why rent out your Spark on GPUwerk Platform?
- Built for GB10. GPUwerk Platform takes only 128 GB GB10 machines and rents them as DGX Sparks at one published price, with all eight GB10 models confirmed working.
- Renter traffic stays off your IP. Primcast's marketplace terms say a rental reaches the internet from your public IP and that third parties may attribute a renter's activity to it. On GPUwerk Platform it exits from GPUwerk's address. See the safety page.
- Nothing to administer. GPUwerk installs and updates the system and firmware, runs renters in isolated instances and wipes the machine between rentals.
- Paid in your currency. A monthly self-billing statement: EUR by SEPA, CZK to a Czech bank, or Wise to almost every country.
- Still your Spark. "Use my Spark" is free whenever it is idle, and you can unlist any time with no minimum period.
- Or let us host it. Buy a Lenovo ThinkStation PGX in the GPUwerk store and choose Host at GPUwerk. It lives in our EU-Central datacenter for €29 a month excluding VAT, is rented on equal terms with our own Sparks, and pays you the same 70%.
Can I rent out a Spark behind CGNAT?
Yes, on both. Primcast's agent holds one outbound SSH connection to its relay on TCP port 2222. GPUwerk Platform needs no port forwarding or public IP either: its tunnel is outbound WireGuard, so your line must allow outgoing UDP and reach at least 300 Mbit/s down and 100 Mbit/s up.
Is there demand for a rented DGX Spark?
Demand for GB10 time is high: GPUwerk's own Spark fleet averages 92% utilisation, and that is why we are adding partner machines. Renters can choose your Spark directly as a partner node, and any-location bookings go to partner machines in the EEA once GPUwerk's own Sparks are in use.
How payouts work
- 70% of every charged hour. That includes stopped time a renter keeps reserved, which pays you about $0.41 an hour.
- Monthly. A self-billing statement each month and payment within 30 days of month end, in EUR by SEPA, in CZK to a Czech bank, or through Wise to almost every country. Amounts under €20 roll over.
- What is not paid. Trial usage (it can run on your Spark, unpaid), the part of a rental paid with GPUwerk promotional credit, your own use, and the last 24 hours of a rental cut short on your side.
- Your costs. You pay your own electricity and internet.
Earnings depend on renter demand and are not guaranteed. Run your own hours and tariff through the earnings calculator.
FAQ
Can I rent out a DGX Spark on Primcast?
Yes. Primcast's DGX Spark page, read on 18 October 2026, names the NVIDIA DGX Spark, the ASUS Ascent GX10 and the ZGX nano, and its native linux arm64 agent runs on your existing install. GPUwerk Platform takes any 128 GB GB10 machine and installs its own locked system from a USB stick.
How much does Primcast take from a DGX Spark owner?
Primcast says it deducts nothing from the monthly rent you set and pays a 720th of it for each hour rented and online, while it sets the renter's price separately. On GPUwerk Platform the renter price is fixed at $0.79 an hour and you get 70%, which is $0.55 per rented hour.
When does Primcast pay hosts?
Monthly, by bank transfer within the first ten days of the following month, with no minimum. GPUwerk Platform pays monthly from a self-billing statement, within 30 days of month end, in EUR by SEPA, in CZK to a Czech bank, or through Wise to almost every country.
Does Primcast work behind CGNAT?
Yes: its agent makes one outbound SSH connection to Primcast's relay on TCP port 2222. GPUwerk Platform also needs no port forwarding or public IP; its tunnel is outbound WireGuard over UDP, on a line of at least 300 Mbit/s down and 100 Mbit/s up.
Can I list the same Spark on Primcast and GPUwerk Platform?
Not at the same time. The GPUwerk install erases the Spark and leaves no local login, so there is nowhere to run Primcast's agent. Remove the machine from Primcast while it is not rented, then boot the GPUwerk install stick.
