Every NVIDIA GB10 machine compared

By Samuel Seidel · Published October 11, 2026

NVIDIA, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Gigabyte and Acer all sell machines built on the same NVIDIA GB10 Superchip with 128 GB of LPDDR5x at 273 GB/s, so the choice comes down to storage, price, warranty, chassis, firmware and whether you can get one. On 11 October 2026 I could verify a dated European price for exactly one of the eight (the Lenovo ThinkStation PGX, EUR 4,579 excluding VAT at Bechtle Belgium), so apart from a reported US price for NVIDIA's own machine, every price cell below says "check vendor" instead of repeating a figure that may predate NVIDIA's 2 October price move. I run GPUwerk, which rents and sells GB10 machines, so read this as written by an interested party.

On 2 October 2026 The Register reported that the 128 GB DGX Spark had moved to $6,950, and that a 64 GB version will be sold only through Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI at around $4,999 (The Register, read 2026-10-11). NVIDIA's DGX Spark page lists the 64 GB configuration as exclusive to OEM partners and shows no price (read 2026-10-11). Everything on this page is the 128 GB machine unless it says otherwise. I did not find a ship date for the 64 GB version, so I give none.

Checked 2026-10-11. Size, weight and storage options are the figures and variants shown on the GPUwerk store pages, which take them from each maker; I did not measure any machine. "Check vendor" means I could not verify a current figure on the day, and I will not quote a snippet or an older price. "None opened" means I found no firmware source I could open for that maker. The last column says whether the GPUwerk Platform install guide gives the firmware keys and screens for that model; "Not listed" means you follow the maker's manual to boot from USB and enable the TPM, not that the install fails. Sources: Bechtle Belgium, The Register, petronellatech, and the GPUwerk store pages.

One gap is worth explaining. Bechtle's 1 TB PGX price (EUR 4,579 excluding VAT) is lower than GPUwerk's (EUR 5,330 excluding VAT). Bechtle's page says the machine ships when available, and GPUwerk's price is for a batch with delivery expected 5 November 2026, before shipping. If you want the lower price and can wait for the retailer's stock, Bechtle is the better route on those figures.

What does not differ

Every machine here uses the NVIDIA GB10 Superchip with 128 GB of unified LPDDR5x at 273 GB/s and a 200 Gb/s ConnectX-7 network interface. Memory bandwidth sets the ceiling for token generation, so that ceiling is identical across makers. Software problems follow the chip as well: vLLM issue #36821 (opened 11 March 2026) names the DGX Spark and the Acer Veriton GN100 together as sm_121 hardware that vLLM's bundled PyTorch did not support, which a later vLLM pull request fixed for both. The full chip and memory details are on the DGX Spark specs page.

I have no measurement showing one maker's machine running a model faster than another's, and GPUwerk has published none. If a review claims a gap, check whether the runs used the same engine, quantisation and thermal conditions.

What to check before buying

NVIDIA DGX Spark (Founders Edition)

The reference machine, 150 x 150 x 50.5 mm and 1.2 kg. The Register reported the 128 GB price at $6,950 on 2 October 2026 (read 2026-10-11). It is sold in 4 TB only, per the store page. The GPUwerk Platform install guide gives its firmware keys. In one field report four units took a firmware update without trouble, though the same report logged power-offs on long prompts (see the cooling note above). GPUwerk lists it as coming soon with no price.

ASUS Ascent GX10

The same chip in a heavier case: 150 x 150 x 51 mm and 1.48 kg on the store page, against 1.2 kg for the Founders Edition. ASUS is the only maker besides NVIDIA whose firmware keys the GPUwerk Platform install guide gives (the TPM ships turned off and has to be enabled). I could not verify a current price or warranty. See the GPUwerk store page and the ASUS Ascent GX10 versus DGX Spark comparison.

Dell Pro Max with GB10

150 x 150 x 51 mm and 1.31 kg per the store page. I found no verified current Dell price or warranty, so check Dell for your region. GPUwerk lists it as coming soon, with no price or stock.

HP ZGX Nano G1n

The tallest of the eight at 54.5 mm with its feet (51 mm without), on a 150 x 150 mm footprint, and 1.25 kg per the store page, which lists it in 2 or 4 TB. I could not verify a current price, a European listing or the warranty. GPUwerk lists the HP ZGX Nano as coming soon.

Lenovo ThinkStation PGX

The only machine here with a dated European price. Bechtle Belgium lists EUR 4,579 excluding VAT for 1 TB and EUR 5,324 for 2 TB, both "ship when available" (read 2026-10-11). GPUwerk sells it on the PGX store page at EUR 5,330, 5,890 and 6,280 for 1, 2 and 4 TB, excluding VAT and shipping, expected 5 November 2026. The machine is 150 x 150 x 50.5 mm and 1.2 kg. The GPUwerk Platform install guide says GPUwerk has not yet confirmed the firmware keys on a PGX.

MSI EdgeXpert MS-C931

Marginally wider than the rest at 151 x 151 x 52 mm, 1.2 kg per the store page. One field report ran a firmware update on four MSI units and four Founders Edition units without trouble, and also saw one MSI unit power off at the start of a very long input after the update (petronellatech, 2026-09-26). That is one company's account of eight machines. I could not verify a current price. See the MSI store page.

Gigabyte AI TOP ATOM

Listed at 150 x 150 x 50.5 mm and 1.2 kg on the store page. I found no price I trust for it, so the table says check vendor. GPUwerk lists the Gigabyte AI TOP ATOM as coming soon.

Acer Veriton GN100

150 x 150 x 50.5 mm, under 1.5 kg, and 4 TB only, per the store page. vLLM issue #36821 lists the GN100 alongside the DGX Spark as the same sm_121 hardware, so a fix for one applies to the other. I could not verify a current price. See the Acer store page.

Rent one before you buy

A GB10 costs thousands and a rental costs $0.79 an hour on GPUwerk, billed per minute, on a dedicated machine in the Czech Republic (EU-Central). Because the chip and memory are shared by all eight makers, a few hours on a rented Spark tells you whether 128 GB of unified memory at 273 GB/s suits your models. It will not tell you anything about a particular maker's noise, cooling or warranty. The how to rent guide walks through a first session, and the rent versus buy page works through the break-even.

If you already own a GB10, you can list it instead: see rent out your Spark.

FAQ

Are all GB10 machines the same?

The silicon and memory are the same: an NVIDIA GB10 Superchip with 128 GB of LPDDR5x at 273 GB/s in every machine on this page (NVIDIA also lists a 64 GB configuration, sold only through partners). What differs is storage (1, 2 or 4 TB), price, warranty, chassis size and weight, firmware cadence and availability. I have no measured performance difference between makers, and GPUwerk has published none.

Is the ASUS Ascent GX10 a DGX Spark?

It has the same GB10 Superchip and 128 GB of unified memory as NVIDIA's DGX Spark Founders Edition, in ASUS's own enclosure. The name DGX Spark belongs to NVIDIA's own machine. ASUS lists its box at 150 x 150 x 51 mm and 1.48 kg, against 150 x 150 x 50.5 mm and 1.2 kg for the Founders Edition (figures as shown on the GPUwerk store pages). For the full comparison, see the ASUS Ascent GX10 versus DGX Spark page.

Which GB10 machine is cheapest?

I cannot say. On 11 October 2026 I could verify only one maker price in Europe: Bechtle Belgium lists the Lenovo ThinkStation PGX at EUR 4,579 excluding VAT (1 TB) and EUR 5,324 (2 TB), shipping when available. I could not verify current US prices for the other makers, and published figures may predate NVIDIA's 2 October price move, so the table says check vendor instead of quoting them.

Which GB10 machines can I buy in Europe?

All eight makers sell GB10 machines or have announced them, but I could confirm a European listing for only one on 11 October 2026: the Lenovo ThinkStation PGX at Bechtle Belgium, marked ship when available. GPUwerk sells the PGX at EUR 5,330 (1 TB), EUR 5,890 (2 TB) and EUR 6,280 (4 TB) excluding VAT and shipping, with delivery expected 5 November 2026. The other seven are listed as coming soon in the GPUwerk store, with no price and no stock. See where to buy in Europe.

Can I rent out a GB10 that is not an NVIDIA Founders Edition?

Yes. GPUwerk Platform accepts any NVIDIA GB10 machine you own outright, and the owner receives 70% of what renters are charged. The GPUwerk install guide gives the firmware keys for the Founders Edition and the ASUS Ascent GX10. GPUwerk has not yet confirmed them on a Lenovo PGX, and for other makers you follow the manufacturer's manual to boot from USB and enable the TPM. The install has run end to end in an emulator and in parts on real hardware, not yet on every model. Rentals depend on demand and earnings are not guaranteed. Details are on rent out your Spark.
