Shipping your hosted machine to you

This page is for a machine GPUwerk hosts for you: one you bought from the GPUwerk store and chose to have hosted after payment, or one you sent in to be hosted. It is yours, and GPUwerk sends it to you whenever you ask, by DHL Express (within Czechia by PPL), door to door with tracking. There is no minimum hosting period.

Ordering a machine shipped straight to you from the store? Its shipping is part of the order: see Shipping and delivery for store orders.

How it works

1. Ask GPUwerk to send your machine, through the contact form or by email to [email protected], with the delivery address.
2. GPUwerk unlists the machine, so it takes no new renters, wipes its drive and makes it ready for shipping within 10 business days of your request. A machine you bought from the GPUwerk store gets the maker's stock system back; a machine you sent in is wiped, and you restore its stock system with the maker's recovery medium.
3. GPUwerk hands the parcel to DHL Express (within Czechia to PPL) and emails you the tracking number. Housing ends with the month it ships.
4. GPUwerk invoices the shipping for your country from the table below, at the price published on the day of your request, plus transit insurance and VAT where it applies.

You can instead collect the machine in person at a time GPUwerk offers, without shipping cost.

Transit insurance

GPUwerk insures the machine in transit at DHL's rate of 1% of its value excluding VAT, at least DHL's minimum premium of CZK 300; the same applies to PPL shipments within Czechia:

• A machine you bought from the GPUwerk store: 1% of the price excluding VAT you paid for it.
• A machine you sent in: 1% of its Table Value on the day of dispatch, from GPUwerk's published value table (partner agreement, clause B5.5).

If GPUwerk ends the agreement without cause, it ships the machine at its own cost. The same applies if you reject a housing fee increase and ask for shipping within 3 months.

Outside the EU, and EU businesses

Inside the EU there are no customs duties. Outside the EU, GPUwerk makes the export declaration for your machine; your country's import VAT, duties and DHL's clearance fees are charged on arrival and are yours to pay. Any Czech VAT you paid when you bought the machine is not refunded on export. Shipments outside the EU are subject to export-control and sanctions checks, and GPUwerk does not ship to countries under EU or US sanctions.

A machine bought without Czech VAT (reverse charge) because you declared it would be sent to your business is shipped only while VIES confirms your VAT ID, and GPUwerk asks you to confirm receipt. For any other machine, a business established in another EU country that moves its own machine there from Czechia may need to register for VAT in Czechia; ask your adviser before asking for shipping.
