Reserve DGX Spark clusters for 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months

A committed price on a linked cluster of 1 to 8 dedicated DGX Sparks: your first month is held on your card to secure it, then charged monthly after that instead of billed per minute. Provisioned within one business day of the hold. Per-minute on-demand rental stays available if you would rather not commit to a term.

Effective hourly and monthly for a single dedicated Spark at each term, computed from the $0.79/hour on-demand rate at 0% / 10% / 15% / 25% / 35% off for 1 / 3 / 6 / 12 / 24 months. The 1-month term is priced like on-demand; what it adds is hardware held for you for the whole month. Larger clusters scale linearly -- see every size below.

How it works
  1. Configure a cluster size, term and start date below, then continue in the console or request a quote by email.
  2. Sign in to the console with the same email and place the first-month hold on your card.
  3. Your dedicated cluster is provisioned within one business day of the hold, or by your chosen start month, whichever is later -- the hold is captured, and charged, at that point.
  4. Your card is charged monthly in USD, excluding applicable tax, at the committed rate. Each charge comes with an emailed receipt.
Pricing by cluster size

Monthly price at each term for the two smallest configurations; clusters of 3, 4 and 8 Sparks are quoted in the configurator above. Clusters cost more per Spark-hour than a single Spark: on-demand, 1 Spark is $0.79/Spark-hour, while a 2-Spark cluster works out to $0.90/Spark-hour ($1.79 ÷ 2) for the interconnect linking them.

Reservation FAQ

What happens after I submit this form?

Your request is stored and a copy is emailed to you immediately with the quoted price. Sign in to the console with the same email to place the first-month hold that secures it. Submitting the form alone is a request, not a booking: no card is charged and no hardware is held until the hold is placed.

What is the first-month hold, and can I get it back?

Instead of a separate deposit, we place an authorisation hold on your card for the full first month's charge -- nothing is charged yet. The hold is captured (and only then actually charged) once your Spark is provisioned, so it is not an extra charge on top of the contract, just your first month paid at that point. If we miss the provisioning deadline, or you cancel before your cluster is provisioned, the hold is released, not charged. Stripe also releases an uncaptured hold on its own after 7 days if it is never captured -- if that happens before we provision, place the hold again from the console. Once provisioning is complete, the term is binding. A cluster larger than our current fleet works differently: its first month is charged immediately, not held, and refunded in full if we miss the delivery date (see the last question below).

Why is a hold required?

It is what lets us commit physical Sparks to you rather than to the next request in the queue. We hold real hardware from the moment the card hold is placed.

How does invoicing work?

By placing the hold you authorise us to save your card and charge it automatically: the first month is captured from the hold when your Spark is provisioned, then one charge for each following committed month until the term ends. Each of those later charges is a Stripe invoice emailed to you, in USD, excluding applicable tax, at the committed rate. If a charge fails we email you and ask you to update the card; unpaid amounts remain due. The monthly charge is flat: it covers unrestricted use of your dedicated Spark for that month, running or stopped, with no hourly charge and nothing drawn from your prepaid credit. Only an extra on-demand Spark beyond your reservation is billed per minute.

Can I pause my reservation?

No. The monthly price is fixed for the whole term and is charged every month, whether you are using the Spark or not. You can stop your instance whenever you like -- the machine and your workspace stay yours and starting again takes seconds -- but stopping does not change the charge, and there is no credit for months you use less. The 25% discount for a stopped on-demand instance does not apply here.

Can I start on-demand now and convert to a reservation later?

Yes. Deploy an on-demand Spark today and reserve a term once you know it fits. Hours already run on-demand are not credited retroactively toward a reservation unless we agree to that in writing beforehand.

What if I need more Sparks than your current fleet?

Reserve it anyway. If the cluster you need is larger than our current fleet, we buy the extra Sparks for you. Sign in to the console and pay your first month as usual, with one difference: it is charged immediately instead of held, because buying and racking hardware takes longer than a card hold lasts. We deliver within 14 days of payment, or by your chosen start month if that is later, and if we miss the date we refund that payment in full.
