LLM hosting from a company the ÚOOÚ already oversees.

Dedicated single-tenant infrastructure in Prague, run by a Czech Societas Europaea under the direct supervision of the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection. For a Czech buyer, there's no foreign entity to vet and no cross-border transfer question to work through first.

Not legal advice. This page describes GPUwerk's infrastructure and corporate structure. Whether it satisfies your specific obligations under Czech or EU data protection law is a question for your own právník or data protection officer, not for this website.

Home turf, not a regional data centre

Every other version of this page has to explain why a foreign vendor's EU presence is close enough. This one doesn't. GPUwerk is operated by PRINT IT! SE, a Societas Europaea registered at Altajská 1568/2, Vršovice, 100 00 Praha 10. If your company is also Czech, both of you sit under the same supervisory authority, and the usual questions about a second jurisdiction, a foreign parent, or an arm's-length relationship with the vendor simply don't apply here.

Where does the data sit?

On a dedicated machine in EU-Central, in the Czech Republic. Not a region toggle in a foreign console, a specific rack, run by a company you can visit in person.

Who is the vendor, legally?

PRINT IT! SE. Company details are published at /legal/imprint. It's a Czech entity directly answerable to the ÚOOÚ, not a foreign one operating under a separate regime.

Can procurement get the paperwork?

Yes. A standard Art. 28 GDPR data processing agreement is at /legal/dpa, and there are no sub-processors on instance workloads, listed at /legal/sub-processors. No certifications such as ISO 27001 are claimed; if one is a hard requirement for you, ask before assuming it applies.

Directly supervised, not arm's length

On the other country pages on this site, GPUwerk has to be upfront that it isn't directly overseen by the buyer's own national authority, and that the buyer's DPO needs to work out the cross-border implications separately. That caveat doesn't apply to a Czech buyer. PRINT IT! SE is registered in Prague, and its processing activities fall under the ÚOOÚ, the same body that would already be relevant to your own company's compliance work. GDPR and the EU AI Act apply the same way they do to any processing carried out in the Union; the difference here is that there's one authority in the picture, not two. That said, this page still isn't a substitute for your own review: whether GPUwerk's setup meets your specific obligations, sector rules, or internal policy is still a question for your own counsel or data protection officer, not a hosting vendor's marketing page.

Questions we get from Czech buyers

Where is the hardware located?

In EU-Central, in the Czech Republic. For a Czech company, this isn't a foreign vendor's regional data centre; it's domestic infrastructure, run by a company registered a short drive away in Prague.

Which authority is responsible for data protection oversight?

PRINT IT! SE is a Czech entity, registered in Prague, so its own processing falls directly under the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, ÚOOÚ), the same authority that oversees your own company if you're also Czech. There's no foreign parent, no arm's-length arrangement, and no second jurisdiction to reason about.

Is a DPA available under Art. 28 GDPR?

Yes, published at /legal/dpa at no charge. There are no sub-processors for instance workloads, listed at /legal/sub-processors.

Is this legal advice?

No. This page describes GPUwerk's infrastructure and corporate structure. Whether it satisfies your specific compliance obligations is a question for your own právník or data protection officer.
